About me.
I’m Hannah, a 34 year old childrens garden educator and blogger living in the pretty seaside town of Eastbourne on England’s south coast, with my partner Matthew, my twin step sons, and young daughter and son.
Not long before I found out I was pregnant with my daughter 6 years ago I overheard someone talking about cloth nappies. My ears pricked up, at first in dis-taste and then with intrigue. I researched it one sleepless night only to have my eyes opened…. Not just to nappies but to a whole new way of living. A more sustainable way…
And so with the help of my family and friends, a lot of reading, many a YouTube video and a serious amount of trial and error I have found a way to live our lives the best way we can while being sympathetic to our planet and the people in it. It’s the most important thing to me.
This has now stretched into minimalism, ideas on consumerism, and the whole world of sustainability. Hear me talk more about this on The Intentional Mum Podcast with Rebecca Hainsworth HERE.
I’m now a children’s gardener, at Rooted Community Food running allotment sessions for primary-aged children, teaching them how to garden, love nature and eat locally within the seasons.
