Welcome to The Thrifty Eco Gardener.

I’m a children’s gardener, running allotment sessions for primary-aged children at Rooted Community Food. It’s there that together the children and I build a growing space for our local community and the children themselves. Everything I teach at the allotment is based on organic no-dig principles. And that’s what I want to teach you here too.

I think it’s so important to make your garden a haven for not only you but for the insects and wildlife that inhabit it alongside us. With a slight change in mindset, we can not only easily do this but make our gardens a beautiful, carbon-sucking oasis.
